I went down to Leo's Camera here in Vancouver and took out a dvx (did not have mine with me) on the street with the Century hood and had a look at it in bright sunlight.. I bought it on the spot..
I just got the same hood. At the angle in the pic above, the weight of the hood makes my LCD swivel down -- do I need to have my LCD tightened or what?
I use the hoodman for $30 from B&H and it works almost identical EXCEPT the cost, the weight, and the install. Plus folds up flat as a pancake in the end. Sorry, no photo yet. Bought two of the things for two of the three cams.
