I'm shooting some moving shots with my dvx100 and a century optics fisheye and the vigenette is shaking around the sides. On previous cameras i have had the fisheye did not appear to shake, is there a certain settings i have to use so that it wont?

Re: century fisheye

Is your camera shaking during these shots? Are you sure the fisheye is attached correctly? I've never heard of a problem like that.

Re: century fisheye

I'm filmking skateboarding, I'm rolling behind someone on a skateboard, and the vigette appears to be shaking, people were teling me that that is not normal.

Bill Turner from Century here. Sorry I am not an expert on the DVX100/100a, but if it has a built in image stabilizer and you are using it, that could be the explanation. If you are shooting with it on, turn it off and see if the specific phenomina goes away.

Re: century fisheye

hey jon, how do you like the death for the dvx? i am debating picking one up...

Re: century fisheye

I like it. But it depends on what your using it for. I've only used mine for skateboarding. I believe that century has the best fisheye lenses so i'd just go with century. I think that its the best you can get for a dvx.

Re: century fisheye

thanks,
yeah i've got one for my old vx, but i've just heard about vignetting issues and what not with the dvx's so i thought i'd get some other's input first
