cell phones

Well, it's going to be a long time if ever before I venture out to a general public theater to watch a film again.
Cell phones have killed it for me...I'll wait till it's out on DVD.

Went to see "The Last Airbender" (what was I thinking anyhow).
Cellphone screens all around flickering...like 2 inch by 3 inch fireflies.

I'm done. I'll never leave my living room to see a film again.

I feel the same way, but not because of cell phones. It's because there hasn't been a movie made in a long time that made me want to leave the house.

I have a Home Theatre but I still venture out for the big ones. That does drive me nuts though. Luckily I don't run into that problem very often once the movie starts.

What do you expect though? Everyone was probably bored to tears watching what some critics have called the worst summer "blockbuster" ever made. :)

Where do you live? I've never had that issue, though movie choices may have as much to do with it as place.

It's like littering. Ever drive down a freeway and see somebody dump a load of McDonalds bags out their window?
People that do what they are told not to do just to show they are above the rules.

You're right about the movie choice though...it was a magnet for that type of film viewer.
