LOL! OK guys, I'm not sure if the mods are going to delete this thread (and they may and it may be the right thing to do).

...then again, this just might be a great place to send people who are just PLAIN FREEEEEAKING OUT over the Black Camera announcement. :thumbsup:

So, I'll start off: WAAAAHOOOO!!!! (ahem)

Actually, I just wanted to thank DVXUser for adding this new part of the forum for this camera. I was so excited that they had done so, that I started geeking out and I didn't want to sully up any of the threads with my slobbering and weaping, lol.

So, to help us all out, if you see someone who needs to do this:


Send them to this thread, 'cause this is the place to do it!

I'm fine if they don't. I'd love it if they did, but here's one thing for sure (if I were them).

Step 1: Hire more people for manufacturing because you're gonna sell a million of them.
Step 2: Hire more people for product development and start designing version 2 ($3K market) and version 3 ($8K market).

....so maybe you'll get your wish! (obviously there isn't any intelligence to my blabbering, but this IS the place to do exactly that!) ;)

And make version of the camera body all black or at least dark because:
1 - reflections of light parts of your camera is not good for your footage
2 - because most users will be mostly stealing location, its better to not catch so much attention with your shiny super cool looking equipment
... all others can buy even pink coloured body, it doesnt make much difference :D
