CCing different Color Temps

I am not for sure if this is the right place to post this, but it is a lighting issue. Is it too difficult to do CC from footage with mixed CT's? I was reviewing some dailies and there are a couple of scenes were the practicals came out very orange. I guess too much daylight was present. What is the best way to go about "correcting" this problem in post?

rough one... find a color correction that plays with both light temps nicely and keeps the essense of what you saw through the lense when you decided to shoot with both temps there. theres not much else you can do unless you want to try and start isolating lights and changing one temps color. shooting with mixed temps can be very beautiful, but you should really have some tested plans in mind for the post game. sometimes if its run and gun you just have to take it for what it is though.

The problem seems to be that the actors were close to these practicals at times and they have an orangish tint(faces), that I would like to neautralize. So the 3way corrector in FC could help bring down the orange tint, without throwing the overall color of the scene?

Yeah, if you know how to operate your secondary color correction tools in FC. The general tools will affect the entire scene.
