cc sphere Question

hi, guys
I am trying to apply the cc sphere effect to a Earth picture to make it look rounded 3d, like Andrew Kramer did in his the blue planet Tutorial. But somehow the picture is not all the way connected in the back. looks like half of the tennis ball
does anyone know what I did wrong or what I need to do to make it all the way rounded like how Andrew did his..... and yes I did follow Andrew's tutorial but somehow I can't figure out how his did his

You need to pre comp the photo layers. If you need to reposition the sphere(s) use the offset controls for the effect rather than repositioning the layer itself.
