CC - changing white balance point - not working, what am I doing wrong?

I have my clip selected and watch it in the canvas. I can color correct it all I want, everything shows up. But when I use that eye dropper for "select auto balance color" - which I am guessing is for resetting the WB on an improperly balanced shot (?) - nothing happens.

Auto White Level does a slight adjustment, but it doesn't seem to be any relation between what I set for my auto-balance color.

I have this one indoor scene that was balanced for daylight, and I can't seem to figure out how to shift things and get it rebalanced in post.

What am I doing wrong? Please help! Thanks
 
Click on the dropper than click on part of your video that is supposed to be white. Then click on the Black level and click on part of your video that is supposed to be Black. That is the quick way to balance the shot.
