Ok so matte box arrived today. still waiting for two more things I ordered but they are on their way.
Anyway: Problem one: I ordered the bellows 4x4 mattebox as it fits on: dvx, hvx, jvchd100 and with step ups gives plenty of room for the letus flip. Plus i love the look of the bellows. With this matte box you can also position the box right at the end of the rods and then extend the bellows along two smaller rods that sit under it. Problem is the two smaller rods I recieved are different sizes, probably about 1 mm off. What does this mean? Well it means that when I tighten them up one is always loose and slides freely so it just falls out, thus the entire unit us unusable. CMON CAVISION PLEASE COME THROUGH ON MY EMAIL ABOUT THIS.. SERIOUSLY PLEASE PRAY FOR ME EVERYONE.
Problem 2 is less significant and can be fixed by me. The unit needs an allen key for adjustment, but does not come with it.
Problem 3. The base which attaches to the cam has a screw that is too shallow for the DVX and HVX. It has two rubber strips that run parallel either side. When I remove the strips it attaches, but then without the rubber it has the opportunity to slip.
Help me obi one ... your my only hope.
