As some of you may know i've been working on trying to make a box that works with the anamorphic lens. Well just recently I decided to buy a cavision 4x4 box and build myself a box that is strictly for the anamorphic lens. Well I decided to try an experiment, I attached my anamorphic lens slipped on the cavision box and found that the box operates at about the same level as the chrosziel 411-53pk, in that I have to zoom in to about 6 on the barrel. Also it should be noted that the box has to be on rails. Other than that I now have a box that works within the range of the chrosziel, and at about 1/5 the cost( seeing as how i'm in canada and the chrosziel is about $1600 US, do the conversion and yada yada yada).
I verified this on my computer capture window.
Just thought people might like to know.
Another thing to mention is that you still have to trim the shade.
