Cavision .4x Fisheye Lens

Got a .4x fisheye lens from Cavision a couple weeks ago and I am loving it.
It comes in a nice leather case and the lens is super clear and crisp
Plus the price is great: 518.00 USD.

I looked at the 16:9 fisheye as well, I do beleive it is .4x the same as the Cavision. I had tried the 16:9 one in a store aswell. The are both comparible, but the Canvision comes with a really nice leather case.

Would the cavision .4 fisheye or the 16x9 fisheye be wide enough to film skateboading lines, like the century mark II lens is for the sony vx series cameras. for Example could you can film about two or three feet feet away from someones feet and see there whole body?

I believe the Century Ultra fisheye that are sized for the VX 1000 and 2100 is a .3x

The 16x9 is a .4 x lens and the Super Fish lens by Century is a .55x lens. but the Cavision lens is a .3x so it should be the same as the older Century Ultra fisheye that fits the Sony VX cameras.

i have and use the 16x9 fisheye for filming snowboarding but its probably not what you're looking for to film skate stuff.

the only lens i know of that would be good for skate stuff would be that extreme fisheye fisheye by century,. but its a kinda too big and a little bit expensive.
