Catalyst prepare users here?

Who is using catalyst prepare for clip management.

It looks clean and nice, but is it worth the 180 dollars Sony asks?

I use it and love it! Whether or not its worth the money depends on your current workflow, and if you think it could return a profit for you if you added it to your media preparation process. If you shoot with Sony cameras like I do, I would seriously recommend it. Though again, just depends on your current situation. If you are happy with what you have, then perhaps not. If you have yet to invest in a media preparation tool, I would suggest C. Prepare over anything else.
 
It's way beyond any other footage-transfer or prep out there.

I'm (literally at this moment) preparing training videos for the Catalyst suite).
