I am looking to buy a pelican case for my DVX and was wondering what size will work the best. Does anyone out there use a pelican? I want to keep the charger, 2 Batteries and remote in it too.

I bought the 1520, and looking back, it's a little small. I can fit the camera quite nicely, along with 3 batteries, 4 tapes, recharger/adapter, hoodman, xlr cable, remote, and my shotgun mic (placed along the length of the camera). It works quite nicely... but I long for more room in the case.
Actually, case size it like processor-speed... you can never have too much.

As I've said before, I got the 1620, and it's MASSIVE. It's full of stuff -- the DVX, the power supply, anamorphic adapter, wide-angle adapter, four batteries, Petrol LCD hood, Zoe Zoom controller, a bunch of tapes, filters -- and there's still a LOT of room left over.
For most practical purposes I'd say it's too big -- it's very bulky and heavy. Maybe something around the 1550 or so would be just the right size for a DVX.
