I have a Cartoni tripod with a Focus 12 head. The head has a Euro style camera plate https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/sear...InitialSearch=yes&sts=hist-ma&Top+Nav-Search= which appears to be identical to the Sachtler Camera Plate Touch & Go 16 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/78924-REG/Sachtler_1064_Camera_Plate_16_Touch.html . Both of these plates come with 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 screws which my camera rig is designed for. Occasionally I use a camera that is designed for the consumer type tripod camera plate (1/4-20 screw with an alignment/location anti-twist pin). Neither Cartoni nor Sachtler offer a Euro style camera plate in this 3.1" x 2.5" size that has an alignment pin. I've searched high and low for a compatible camera plate with an alignment pin with no success. Has anyone else encountered this problem and come up with a solution? I prefer not to have to buy a quick release adapter that is mounted on the tripod camera plate. I just came across this Miller 1/4-20 and pin adapter https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/sear...&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search= . Would it work with the Cartoni Focus 12?
