Cartoni/Bogen Combo?

[Life in a Box Films]

Does anyone know if the Cartoni Focus head would fit the Bogen 515MVB:

The Cartoni is 100mm and this tripod is 100mm... anyone know of any issues with the Cartoni on Bogen sticks?

For ~$1200 together you get the Cartoni head on 2 stage sticks that can go to 12.5" off the ground to a full 61.5". I tend to shoot lower than higher, so being able to go low is important to me. The 1 stage cartoni legs have a min height of 35.8"...

I'm using the cartoni head with the 515 bogen and it fits fine except you have to modify the cartoni know in order to collapse the legs completely. I used a hack saw to cut off part of the know handle and it works fine.

Thanks, I went ahead and bought this combo. That's too bad I'll have to take a hacksaw to my lovely cartoni head though...
