hey all,
I know there are a bunch of companies out there that make pci to cardbus adapters, but is there anyone that makes something that either extends the port to say the front of the computer, like the little usb card adapters that take multiple formats (SD, ms and such) that have a cable that wraps to the back of a computer. My gripe is it seems like there has to be a better solution than the drive panasonic is making for $2000, and I hate that I have to pull out my mac pro everytime I want to plug in a card (also get tired of transfering the footage to my powerbook, then a HD for simple tests and small one/two card projects).
maybe I am lazy or cheap, but $2000 is a lot the last I checked.
