car "release" form

If I shoot inside someone's car, do I need a release from the owner? Something like location release but for the car? thanks! Serge

In my 25 years of shooting for television, I have never done that - unless you feature the car (the BatMobile or The Dukes of Hazard car) or it's been customized in another recognizable way. Of course, you need to have permission to use that "someone's" property, so I guess you could call that a "release", just like you'd need permission even if you weren't shooting inside it.
