Car Mounts

Hi, I just was asked to DP a short. The question I have has to do with car mounts, a lot of the film takes place in a car at night. So what do I do. Any cool cheap camera rigs to mount on the car out there. Also I know this should be in the lighting blog, but how would you light the actors in the car, but still keep the darkness of night. Also this car will be moving, so please HELP!!

I have a GT Mount and I've used it quite a bit. It is very much a pain to setup but it is VERY secure.

Our short (see banner) was shot on a http://filmtools.com car mount. It worked like a charm. Solid as I could have ever hoped for it to be. I would mount my DVX on it any time - heck, we didn't even tether the thing onto the car.
