Hey,
I check the Panny website and didn't see a Car charger adapter for the DVX100a battery. Does anyhow know if the item exist or is it just my wishful thinking? If it exist, where can I get one?

Barry Green, feel free to comment.

At the risk of upsetting Pookie even more, how DO you use the search facility in this forum? The search facility in this forum (and okay, in many others) seems very not like Google. If you asked Google to look for "car charger" for you, it wouldn't tell you that "car" was "too short" a word for the query. What's up with that? And it would understand that the closest match for "car charger" was "car charger", and not "car [some-other-word] [some-other-word] [some-other-word] charger".

Jun Tang TRIED to search, and didn't get the desired results. I've searched for hours on this forum for things I KNOW must be here and haven't been able to find them -- or I find them, but can't for the life of me figure out which keystroke it was that finally satisfied the Search Gods. Shouldn't there be online help for searching on this site? Or a link to the search rules (no matter how universal or widely used they are)?

Maybe part of the problem is that some of us are not used to searching in threads in discussion fora. I'm still surprised when a "successful" search coughs up an entire thread, and not just the one little entry that actually contains the text you're looking for.

Okay, Pookie, delete me/block me now; I'm ready.

i've never had a problem finding what i'm looking for with the "search forums" option.

but i ain't taking sides here...

www.beachcamera.com also has one pretty cheap for car or house. and i posted instructions on how to make it even more portable for your average poor guy on another post. you will however, need to use the search.
