Car charger?

I'm going on a two week road trip and I'm wondering if there is some sort of car charging solution for DVX batteries.

Re: Car charger?

Lenmar MSC-1L Mach 1 Alpha speed charger, charges DVX batteries in half the time, comes with interchangeable plates so it can also charge Canon, Sony, and JVC batteries, and includes a DC cigarette-lighter plug.

Re: Car charger?

I have a universal lenmar charger with the panasonic adaptor plate. This works great for me; I've had no problems with my previous camera (JVC, for two years) and none since I bought my DVX100A in February.

You can find this on various vendors' sites, but I think I bought mine from www.batteries.com or something like that. It comes with both AC adapter AND the DC cigarette lighter adapter and also works to "condition" the batteries (I don't know if that works or not but I had used the same batteries on my JVC camcorder for 3 years without losing more than a few minutes charge before I sold it, for what it's worth). Just make sure when you order it, you get the correct adapter plate.

Good luck,
Dave

lenmar is great, and you can also buy an invertor for the car that you can plug your normal charger into, or any other low wattage 120v gadgets.

Radio Shack.. that's where I bought mine. Make sure you get the Mach1, the Delta Blows.
