Car battery charger?

Does anyone know if/how I can charge the Panasonic batteries from a car lighter? Is there an adaptor on the market?

Re: Car battery charger?

you could buy an invertor, I've seen them as cheap as $20 for a single plugin. then you could pop it into the cigarette lighter when your on location and steal the juice out of your car.

APC makes a really good invertor.

i have seen some really cheap but i worry about it being crap and frying my equipment.

I got one. It was laying around for about a year before I opened the box. It doesn't work. Of course, too late to have it exchanged... :(

Re: Car battery charger?

Get a Lenmar MSC-1L Alpha Speed Charger. It charges Panasonic (and Sony and Canon and JVC) batteries about twice as fast as the regular charger, and it includes a DC car adapter. I think EVS sells 'em for around $69 or so.

Yeah, the lenmar mach 1 is AWESMOE. I picked one up on ebay for about $40. Works great and comes with cigarette lighter adapter.
