Capturing...

why is it that when im trying to capture with the panasonic GS9, FCP cant read the TC on it? i used my dvx (unfortunatly) as a deck and it worked fine...any thoughts?

Im having the same problem only with a Sony DCR-TRV11. Help please before I burn through the tape heads on my precious DVX!
