Can I capture footage shot with my DVX100B with any small mini dv or does it have to be a 3ccd style small handy cam - I need a playback deck and not sure - I dont want to lose any quality - Thanks!
You are transferring data in the capture mode, so the CCD is not coming into play at all.
What you need to do is make sure you have the cam from the same region, PAL or NTSC, and personally, I would stick to a Panny for a capture deck to match your Panny camera.
