Capturing Question?

This might sound like a dumb question but it isn't really one that I can search for in the help dialog.

Is there really anything that you can do while capturing? (FCP 514)
I mean when you click play and then click "capture now" is there any way to do markers or anything like during the capturing?

I am thinking that there isn't but I just wanted to confirm.

No. You can either do those kinds of things before hand or after the fact (you can add markers and comments and such afterwards no problem). But while its capturing that is all it is doing.

Yeah that's what I thought. I would do batch capture but for time reasons that isn't very possible.

Ok thanks I just wanted to make sure. I guess that is 1 point for Avid, as much as I hate to say that. The ability to place markers and type the description during capturing is major plus in some situations.
