:shocked: I use Pinnacle Edition 5.5 on a windows XP platform for editing footage shot with my DVX100A.I encounter the following problem when digitizing:
If the time between the edit out of the last clip and the edit in of the next is less than 10 seconds, no problem. If this time period is more than 10 seconds, the camera is advanced to a position exactly 10 seconds before the edit in of the next clip. It is then put into play mode and advanced up to the point where digitizing is supposed to start, i.e. at the edit in mark, only it does not. Instead the camera is advanced to 10 seconds before the next clip and the next and the next....
If I interrupt the digitizer about 3 seconds before the edit in of the next clip and then restart the digitizer the clip is digitized correctly.
Pinnacle have not been able to help me. I am stumped. Anybody out there with some solutions/advise?:undecided
