I'm capturing 16x9 SD footage at 24F via a Panasonic AG-DV2000 deck and I'm viewing it on a Panasonic CT-1384 monitor. The preview in FCP looks ok, but the image on the monitor looks stretched to fill the screen. The footage I captured now has black bars on each side of the screen and is now useless. Do I need to change a setting before capturing or something?
And when I render out, since the footage is already progressive, do I need to tell it to de-interlace when Exporting with QuickTime Compression?
