Capturing from Sony HDR-FX1

So I borrowed a friend's Sony HDR-FX1 and am trying to import the footage before I guve back the camera... All I've ever dine in FCP is captured DVX-100A footage, so I started changing capture and sequence settings, and they're not working for the sony, and now I've messed up the seeting I had for the DVX (and I'm not sure what they were to put them back) So does anyone have experience importing footage from this camera or similar, and do you know a website which may list the different cams and the appropriate capture settings for them? Also does anyone have experience bringing HDV 1080i footage into a normal, dvx, dv ntsc anamorphic timeline? Any tips greatly appreciated before I start! Thanks.
 
Are you capturing with the FX? You can only capture HDV footage(using the HDV easy setups) with an HDV camera.

Load the 1080i 60 Easy Setup and you should be fine. And when you're done reload the DV-NTSC setup or the 24p With Advanced Pulldown setup if you use that.
