Is there any good reason, other than hard drive space, that one shouldn't just capture a whole reel with FCP and then make subclips from that. It seems alot easier on the camera and the editor person as well. Appreciate any advice.
If that file gets corrupted you're sol. Also it results in much slower playback perfomance once you start working with a lot of clips. It's smarter editing to log and capture clip by clip. May seem like more work up front but it's rewarding down the road.
