Please help me with the process and settings to capture old dvx tapes in premieer pro cc.

I need to recapture my complete library of old dvx tapes into premiere. I have a mini dv deck with firewire.

The last time I captured tapes was with sony vegas and it worked great!

I only have used memory cards with premiere so I am not sure of the process or settings to use in ppcc.

any help would be much appreciated. THANKS!

is DAVID JIMERSON in the house ???...........

Premiere is no different from Vegas.
Hook the dv deck/camera up on firewire and capture with Premiere (Capture window F5)

thanks for the response !

are there any settings I should be aware of such as pulldown ect...

I haven't done this in a while.

thanks!
