Hi, I have just started to log and capture some footage we shot using a DVX-100, the camera is no longer available for editing so I am using a Sony 100 camera for capture.
We shot in 25p mode- will the other camera retain that?
I noticed on the LCD screen of the camera my footage looks very nasty and grainy in spite of the fact it was shot in good light.
As far as I can tell I am capturing af full resolution but the captured footage seems to have fairly visible compression- it may be that i am used to looking at footage shot on DVCAM but the level still seems unaceptable.
Some screen grabs are posted here, they have been saved as jpegs but at high quality so this is pretty much the best my footage seems to get..
