I have a buddy of mine that wants to make a music video. He said he will have a partner singing with him but he was unclear as to whether or not she would have an instrument. What I have confirmed is that he will be singing and playing guitar while his partner will at least be singing (both being beside each other). What would be the best way to capture this? I made a post about capturing audio from a Christmas concert with two omni mics and it actually worked out very well. Could I get away with doing this again for this type of event? Or do I need larger diaphragm mics?
I am pretty sure he said that he would be dubbing over it anyways, but I still want to make sure I can capture the audio as best as possible.
