Capturing Analog video in FCE with DSR-11

Can you help?
I need to capture some Analog video into Final cut Express. I have a DSR-11 Deck and the input switch to video, I have changed the Easy Start to DV Converter but it does not see any video signal, I have done his before whith a PC using Premiere...

Any suggestions would be helpfull

Not sure in Express... in Pro there's a way to turn off deck control so it doesn't look for timecode.

Called - non-controllable device.

Not sure what the settings give you in DV Converter...

Dub the analog to a DV tape in the DSR, then capture that tape. Then you'll also get timecode.

Thanks, yes I have chosen DV capture with Device control turned off but still nothing.
I thought of putting the video on to a DV tape but hoped that there would be another way.

Solved the problem, needed to set the DSR-11 menu for VTR set up, DV EE out set to on, and it work OK now.
