Capturing 30f with FCP 5; Please confirm settings!

Hi. I just discovered the FCP portion of this site. I recently bought a Canon XH-A1 and have questions re: capturing to FCP 5.0.4 with 30f (or 30p) footage. I've tried to read everything I can find and remain stumped. The canon manual says 30f records in 30fps progressive and outputs to 60fps interlaced. Considering that I can't find capture settings (in v. 5 or 6) for HDV 1080 30p (or f), is the following then appropriate:

Capture: HDV 1080i 60, 29.97 (NTSC)
Sequence: 1440 * 1080 (both aspect and pixels)
Compressor: HDV 1080i 60

I've tried switching field to 'none' but captured properties shows an Upper field dominance. Sequence properties, however, shows none and did not require me to render. Everything is there and looks good.

I'm planning to upgrade to vs 6 when I can afford to, but can definitely not afford to capture 20 hours of footage incorrectly. Some confirmation would give me great peace of mind!

Lastly, will the 30f footage output to progressive still (or does it even matter, if I've obtained the 30f look)? I personally found 24f to be too choppy with quick pans and am about to shoot a handheld doc in India.

Thanks!

Adam
