Capturing 25p in Final Cut Pro & Exporting 25p using Compressor

Hi.

I have just finished shooting my first video project on the DVX100A, with the PAL 25p (Scene File 6 setting) and are now ready to import the footage into Final Cut Pro. I can't seem to find any info on what are the appropriate "preset" settings to capture the 25p into the computer when using Final Cut Pro 4.5.

The Sequence Preset in Audio/Video Settings gives you two seemingly appropriate options a) DV PAL 48KHZ-24 and b) DV PAL 48KHZ-24@25. What is the correct option to use here? Either/or? And does this pose a problem if you will also use standard PAL (non progressive) DV footage in the same sequence at some stage? Do I need to use the "conform 25 to 24" part of the "tools" section at all?

Also when exporting/compressing the sequence using Compressor 1.2.1, it only gives you an option to select Pal/NTSC/24/Automatic in the "Video Format" drop down box in the Presets section. There is no drop down box for 25p. What is the correct format to select here, to ensure that the 25p footage is compressed correctly?

My apologies in advance for these probably stupid questions. Any clarification would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
