Capturing 24pa from External Deck

Hey y'all-

Slow day here at work and to save some life on my DVX, I was going to try capturing footage from a JVC DV-VHS (SR-VS30). Will I have trouble capturing into Final Cut with pulldown removal?

I usually just take the footage straight from the DVX, so I wasn't sure if it would be a waste of time.

i've had problems with this deck at my school....multiple decks same problem

so far no solution

i think its so weird that Final cut makes it so hard for you to "reformat" a clip after you've imported it. i am Spoiled by Vegas. I need to learn Final cut, and these simnple convinences are killing me here....
