Capturing 24pa... 2.3.3.2 pulldown wont work

Hey

I am having some capturing problems and here is the situation. I shot in 24pa in sp mode. Does rec mode create a problem when capturing? Now when I capture the footage FCP does not allow the captuure and says there is a error with the tape and will only capture a few minutes. Any help would be really appriciated.

What version of FCP are you using? 5?

What you are describing sounds like a change in pulldown cadence caused from turning off the camera.

Just log around that spot and you should be fine.
