Capturing 24f questions (in FCP 6)

I know I can capture 24F Canon HDV footage in Final Cut Pro 6 via HDV 1080i60 Easy Set Up, but what about capturing via 1080p24, which I heard you could do in FCP 5.1.2? If so, does it remove the pulldown?

There's no pulldown to remove. Just use the HDV 1080 24p Easy Setup and capture pure 24p (F) from the Canon and enjoy the simplicity of HDV 24p editing.
