Capturing 24f from a Canon A1

What easy setup do I chose to capture 24f Canon A1 Footage?
What's all this talk about AIC, from what I read it doesn't work with
the Canon. Does this mean my HDV footage is going to be slow on
my Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.3?

Got me. I tried every setup in the list and I couldn't get FCP to recognize the camera...at all. I shot 60i, 24F. But FCP wouldn't see the camera. I had to capture the footage with my Kona LH on my G5...as DVCPRO HD. I didn't get to capture timecode, which is VERY important.

The HDV1080/24f preset. HDV will be fine on your laptop.
