Hi all, new user, seems like a great forum, I have a couple of questions, hopefully someone can enlighten me...
I just shot in 1080i60i on a Sony HVRZ1U, and now am trying to capture it into Final Cut Pro. I am unsure exactly what "Easy Setup" selections to make, I have tried a few different ones and nothing seems to work. The device (the Z1U) is connecting properly I believe-when I hit the play button on the log and capture window the tape plays, but no picture displays on the screen.
After a few seconds it will come up with an error window saying that the capture has been cancelled due to no information coming from the device.
I am at my wits end, this is the first time I have tried to capture HD, and may be in way above my head, hah. Any help/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
BTW I only have this camera until Monday morning (rental) would I be able to capture it using a standard deck/non HD camera, or do I need the Z1U?
