G'day
I have spent a bit of time searching the forum, but i cant seem to find a relevent post. However i think this will be a simple question.
I am Trying to capture a rare VHS Via DVX100 to edit in FCP. It is the only way i think i can do it. It works, However the interlacing becomes really bad.
Here is a pic

i will try to HTML it up:
You can see the effect in his hands in this image.
It is only in fast motion, like here where John Holt it taking off his jumper. Is this a job of the de-interlacing tool? or are there som setting that can match the interlacing better so it will look just like it dose on the tape, when played on a TV.
At What point is this happening?
What setting can combat this?
is it just somthing we have to live with?
Thanks
- Joel
