When I capture from my DVX into Vegas 5.0 my footage becomes flat and desaturated. While I capture, the image looks great on the preview screen. When I click stop in the capture window the colors become flat. basically, if the capture button is down it looks great but if its not it looks flat. When the clips get into vegas, they look terrible and flat no matter what. oddly enough, if i drag a clip out of the capture window onto my desktop, and play it with real player, it looks great. yet if i play that same clip with quicktime, it looks terrible.
does this mean somethings wrong with quicktime? with vegas?
