Capturing in FCP 6.0.1 from minidv tape deck
My capture scratch files have the name of the clip followed by multiple av.mov
What is that?
it is not a self contained quicktime file.
When you open in quick time it does not show anything... I did this using Capture now
Did your original footage have timecode breaks? Final Cut Pro is not as robust when dealing with those. You'll have better luck manually setting the in and out points, and batch capturing your footage.
