Capture "Scene Detect" in FCP 7.0.3?

Never mind folks.

I finally found the right post to address my problem.

In FCP 7.0.3 you just capture the whole tape as a single clip, then use "Mark\DV Start/Stop Detect" to access individual "segments" of your clip (tape).

Then, you can drag each segment to the timeline as a clip.

I am assuming you can also make independent clips from the segments, but haven't looked into that.

Back to the drawing board for me...

Create a new Bin.
Select all the Markers that function creates in your Master Clip.
Drag them into the new Bin.
They will be straight out subclips.

I did find out about the DV Mark In\Out, but not this trick. That rocks.
