Alright so Im using vegas 7 and I use it almost everyday. Today i went on it and i went to go capture some footage I filmed from today. But today when i went to capture the footage i filmed, i plugged the camera into firewire and when the camera was playing the footage the preview screen was black but the sound was coming over the computer speakers and the tape timecode was changing on the capture preview. No footage got captured though. I tried to capture using 3 different cameras and 2 different firewires. I also restarted comp and vegas several times. Note I didnt change any settings in vegas or on the camera.
Anyone ever have a problem like this, anyone know what might be wrong?
