Capture Now on EXT HDD ::error::error::error::

[Dizkoteck]

I got my new EXT HDD, the Lacie Porche firewire.

I havent used one in a long time.
But when I try capturing now through the HDD, it gets stuck there with "allocating disk space"
Is there something missing? something I did or didnt do?
Thanks guys

Two silly questions. Did you check the cable, and have you set it as a scratch disk?

Yep.
I shouldve mention this earlier
I can however batch capture fine, tad slow but fine. The cable is tight.

I got screwed by Lacie didnt I?

Set capture now to the smallest amount you can for your capture. (i.e. 30 minutes or whatever)
