capture dvd footage into FCP HD

hi-I shot some footage with a digital underwater camera that wrote directly onto mini-dvd format.

What is the best way to bring this into and existing FCP project as a sequence?

I'm not seeing in the manual any mention of this--do i need to go through Osex and Diva to recopy the footage into another format?

thanks

Best way -- reshoot it.

Seriously, rip the DVD material as MPEG-2 then use QT to convert to DV. You will not be happy with the quality, but it is the only way to save the material.

well ripping is the only way then.

underwater housing for the dvx-100 wasnt an option unfortunately.

when capturing the ripped dvd, what should the settings be then?
