Capture direct from DVX100a to FCP

What is the procedure for capturing into FCP directly from the camera via firewire while simultaneously recording in the camera to tape with the same timecode? Thanks, Craig
 
You should be able to bring up a capture window and just hit capture now, right? Just make sure all of your capture settings are kosher with your camera settings.

I know this seems too simple, so maybe I have something wrong.
