I know it's an older film. Saw it for the first time yesterday with my friend. I thought it was very well done, and they made some very interesting artistic narrative choices. They never once showed any of the guys being killed, they just showed their flares being shot up in the air. Things like that were really cool. Plus I thought the story was cool too. Only thing that bugged me is that it just ended... No real resolution. I assume the government was exposed or something... But I'll never know.
 
One of the great offshoots of this movie is the ridiculous notion that the Apollo Moon landings were faked in a similar fashion, even though the technology was was not capaple of such a feat in real time.

People are also complaining about photos of strange reflections, cast shadows, and excess light in shaded areas.

They don't take into account the actual terrain of the area and the fact that the albedo of the Moon is greater than that of the Earth, which will cause more light scattering into shaded areas.

I can't believe people actually think the moon landing was faked. The government isn't f*cking stupid. They knew that people with extremely sophisticated future technology would be evaluating the moon landing. Do you really think United States then was not concerned about screwing over United States future? So stupid. I hate morons with irrational conspiracy theories.

Apparatntly that conspiracy theorist schmucko had been shadowing Aldrin for several days.

That mamaluc called Buzz (a lifelong military man who served in the Korean War) a coward, a liar and a thief to his face.
 
Yeah... it's funny because I am working on a pilot episode of a kid's history show and the topic is the Apollo mission to the moon. I've read all the hoax stuff, and it's a bunch of crap. Everything people think is a key can be explained.
