Actually, I am having a similar problem(was hoping this post was going to solve it! haha)
I'm trying to render out a :30 main concept file but it gives me an error message after I okay all the settings and hit render(says it cannot determine the problem).
When I render out using a different codec or format it works fine... but for some reason the main concept kept failing me. Almost screwed me with a client the other day.
