Hi,
I'm using Premiere Pro CS 5.5 and I had a colorist take my raw files and project file and create color rendered files and give me all the files back...all of this was done through an external seagate free agent go flex. When I got all the files back, they open perfectly fine running through the drive. The problem is..when I copy and paste all the files onto my desktop and remove the drive...when I open the project file, I have to locate the raw files again. Not a big deal, but when I do that, Premiere has an issue with opening the project file for some reason. It seems that it's all linked through the hard drive. When I open the project file on my desktop, it will open fine as long as the external drive is plugged in. But I don't want the only way to open this project file to be with the hard drive plugged in.
Does anyone know how I can fix this so that I can open it all on my desktop without having to rely on the external hard drive being plugged in? Is there a quicker way than having to click on every single raw file when I have the project file opened, and relink it to the desktop raw files? I hope so.
Thanks
