Can't import .MXF files

I am working with Adobe Premiere CS3. I worked on a project this summer (DVCPor50) and did not have problems importing .MXF files into the program to do the editing.

This time we are filming in HDV 720P and I get the message 'unsupported file format'. Can anyone tell me what I should do here ?
